hehe no probs! stay confident when doing things yourself, and you'll teach yourself everything. i tought myself so much that halfords prefered to ask me for a job at 15 years old over three 20 year olds! so i now work as a bike mechanic aswell.
cant wait to see pics,
well done

you dont need to cut the spring!
EASY PEASY
Heres what I did for Drop Off:
1) Removed Plastic Air Cap Covers And Press On Valves To Release Any Air
2) Unscrew Top Caps Using A 21mm Socket
3) Turned Forks Upside Down And Drained All Oil Out Into Separate Containers, Aluminium Spacer And Spring Will Fall Out Of Left Leg When Doing This, Put Them On The Side With Other Bits
Note: When you pour all the oil out try and catch as much as possible in two clean separate containers one for each leg and label each container as each leg has a different amount of oil in it!
4) Turn The Forks Upside Down Again, And Using Two Hands Compress The Forks So All The Drips Of Oil Fall Out Into Each Container
5) Leave Forks Compressed, Keep Them Upside Down And Get A 11mm Socket On The Bottom Two Bolts (Underneath Each Leg) Undo Both These
Note: You will feel like you are undoing these for ages and that something is wrong. After a good 1 minuite of loosening on either bolt, get some pliers and pull these out. This is only neccessary as they hold them selves in with rubber seals meaning they wont fall out, but they just need a gentle pull.
6) With Those Bolts Off, Pull The Lowers (Legs) Right The Way Off The Stanchions. What You Will See Now Is The Stanchions (Looking Really Long!) And The Lowers. Give Them Both A Wipe Down With A Clean Rag. On The Bottom Of The Stanchions There Will Be Two Little Silver Threads Poking Out, And At The Top Of Those Threads Will Be Silver Circular Nuts. Unscrew Each Of These On Both Sides With Your Fingers Or Pliers And Place To One Side.
7) Now You Have Taken Those Circular Nuts Off, You Can Push The Damper Rods Up And Out The Top Of The Fork. Do This By Getting A Long Screwdriver Or Peice Of Metal And Push The Damping Rods (The things which we just took the circular nuts off) Up And Out Of The Top Of The Fork.
You Will Now Have 2 Damping Rods Which Are The Same. On The Damping Rods You Will See A Small Gold Spring On Each One. On The Left Damper Rod Add A 50mm (5cm) Peice Of Handlebar On Top Of The Top Out Spring.
9) Push The Damping Rods Back Down Into The Stanchions (Make sure they are in the right sides, one with new spacer on the left (spring side)!) Again The Rods Will Need Poking Back Down Into Place, Until You See The Threaded End Of Them Poke Out The Bottom Again. You Can Pull On These As Far As They Come Out, The Left Side (The One With The New Spacer) Wont Extend As Far Out As The Right, This Is Fork Lowering!
10) Now The Damping Rod Threads Are Poking Out The Bottom, Re-Screw The Circular Nuts Back In Place.
11) When That Is Done Pick The Stanchion Up And Place Back Into Fork Leg Lowers. Go Gentle When Pushing The Stanchions Back In As You Do Not Want To Damage The Seals.
12) Turn Forks Upside Down And Rescrew The Fork Leg Bolts Back Onto Each Leg At The Bottom, Tighten As Much As Possible, But These Wont Tighten Properly Until The End!
13) Filter/Pour Oil Back Into Each Stanchion.
14) Drop Spring Into Left Hand Stanchion. The Spring Will Sit Right Up To The Top Of The Stanchion So The Aluminium Spacer Which Was Previously On Top Is No Longer Needed.
15) Screw Top Caps Back On With A 21mm Socket, Left One You May Have To Push Down On Spring A Bit To Fit It In.
16) Tighten Top Caps As Much As Possible With 21mm Socket
17) Turn Forks Upside Down And Tighten Lower Leg Bolts Right Up With 11mm Socket.
1 Add Some More Air With Fork Pump (They Will Need About 60 PSI) 30 In Each
19) Re-Screw Plastic Valve Caps On.
20) Re-Fit Onto Bike.
There You Go 80mm Fork Conversion In 1 HOUR

Will you just shut up? You were wrong and sherbet pointed it out, sure the rudeness was a tad bit unnecessary, but then you kind of flipped out, just drop it.

One of my friends was doing a project for school on the retina, and was going to use my eye as an example, along with a few other eyes. You don't ever shut up, do you?

But im waiting till January for the shonky and it will only cost $50 max! because it is better then my old frame.
